My goal when I started out as a standup comedian was to one day, host my own late night talk show. I didn't know you had to be a radical leftist in order to do that. That dream was shattered since hosts no longer want to be middle-of-the-road and funny to everyone the way Carson & Leno did it.
The new way is to hate on half the country, forget to be funny, but preach radical leftism and then wonder why your ratings have cratered. (Just ask Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Cordon, Jimmy Colbert, and Jimmy Trevor Noah.)
